Testimonials

recommend Executive Coaching in Milton Keynes"After returning from working in Australia for a year I came home to find the recession had depleted the jobs in my chosen field. Months of searching for the right job left me feeling down and confused. It was then that I was introduced to Mike Jones who had begun private coaching through Potential Matters.

Over the next two months Mike and I had in depth sessions which included skilled exercises designed to help me find the answers I was looking for. With each session I found my frustration easing and my mind becoming clearer. By the end of our sessions I found that I knew exactly what I wanted to do in life.

Mike helped me see through the confusion and look at the bigger picture. I am now a director of a small media production company. Every day presents different challenges however I wake up every morning with the feeling that I am happy in life and content with the direction I’m going."

"Mike Jones coached me over the course of a couple of months and I can assure anyone choosing him as their coach that they will have made an exceptionally good choice.

He is an excellent listener, and using his skills along with a simple line of questioning, you will begin to feel more confident in what you do, and with solving issues in everyday life. Many things will appear clearer and easier to comprehend, and using some basic techniques, your quality of life can improve.

I would gladly have Mike as my coach should the need arise in the future and would not hesitate to recommend him to anybody looking for an Executive Coach."

"Having worked with a couple of other coaches in the past, Mike’s approach proved to be far more effective; I found his tips, and the additional feedback he was willing to offer, an essential insight regarding where to put my focus and how to deal with, say, interruptions.

I was aware that everyone ‘knows’ they need to face up to and deal with ‘large elephant in the corner’, but which we astutely avoid as though it does not exist. However, whereas the other coaches were more inclined to get me to face ‘the elephant’ head-on, Mike’s approach was less direct, first helping me to examine smaller, less threatening areas, such as what happens if we deal with one small part at a time, possibly with eyes shut.

Mike’s non-directive and non-judgemental line of questioning allowed me to discover the solutions required and he was extremely willing to discuss alternatives I had discovered for myself and wished to try out.

He is an astute and calm observer, willing to follow my chosen direction each week. I found this to be advantageous as with no obvious and hence intrusive agenda I did not feel pressured to perform. I feel that this was one of the most beneficial parts of the process.

I would highly recommend Mike as an Executive Coach and have done already."
